These are funds that young people allocate to be spent on activities projects & improvements that young people want In Telford & Wrekin
How does it work?
A group of young people (The Panel) across Telford & Wrekin have been recruited & trained to act as 'Grantmakers'
They are supported by Connexions 4 Youth staff but young people are the decision makers
The Panel have developed the application forms and agreed the way in which applications will be assessed
The Panel meet regularly to review the applications
Young People make applications to the Panel with the support of an adult who can help them with the planning, the application & the running of their activity or project.
It is hoped that young people who have received grants will become Panel members in the future
